 An American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bryant enjoyed a successful high school basketball career at Lower Merion High School, where he was recognized as the top high school basketball player in the country.

Kobe Bryant is a very intense player. He is one of the best players out there. Very determined, focus, and a proffesional.

Basic basketball facts

In this sport, the main objective is to score points by placing the basketball in the opponent's basket which is kept at a height of 10 ft. There are 5 five players each, in both the teams.

Scoring is done by shooting the ball in the basket, while dribbling helps the players to advance towards the opponent's basket. Passing is also an important move in basketball, because it helps to cover the distance quickly. There are many rules and regulations in basketball that discourage any unfair moves by players.

The duration of the game played at the international level is divided in 10 min quarters; while in the NBA League, the quarters are of 12 min each. The court size is 28 by 15 m (in an international game); while the NBA League uses 29 by 15 m size courts.

In street ball, the goal is not to make more baskets to win, what counts is the fun the dribble and the jokes made in court. Does not meet certain rules, only the rules of professional basketball, the rules of the sport are followed strictly. Example: Marking of absence, walk with the ball and so on. Basically ball the other player up with style.

Michael Jordan's Biography
Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 17, 1963. His parents, James and Delores Jordan, moved to Wilmington, North Carolina when he was still a toddler. Jordan has two older brothers, one older sister, and one younger sister.
Jordan loved to play baseball when he was a child, and also played some basketball and football. His love for basketball began when his older brother, Larry, continuously beat him in one-on-one pickup games. As with any challenge Jordan faces, this determined Michael to become a better player.

Allen Iverson

Allen Ezail Iverson (born June 7, 1975, in Hampton, Virginia^[1]) is an American professional basketball player for Beşiktaş^[2] in the Turkish Basketball League and the Eurocup. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the number one pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.^[3] He was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in the 1996–97 season. Iverson is an eleven-time NBA All-Star which includes winning the All-Star MVP award in 2001 and 2005.
Winning the NBA scoring title during the 1998–99, 2000–01, 2001–02 and 2004–05 seasons, Iverson has become one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, despite his small (listed at 6 feet, 0 inches) staturs. His regular season career scoring average of 26.7 points per game ranks sixth all-time, and his playoff career scoring average of 29.7 points per game is second only to Michael Jordan. Iverson was also the NBA Most Valuable Player of the 2000–01 season and led his team to the 2001 NBA Finals the same season. Iverson represented the United States at the 2004 Summer Olympics, winning the Bronze medal. He also played for the Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies, before returning to the 76ers for part of the 2009-10 season.
